ac problems

getting a cheap atlas means there are some problems that need fixing and one of those is the ac. its not blowing cold and im looking to get some opinions on what it could be and if its something i can fix and replace myself?

actually yeah i heard from my friends if it's secondhand it's very expensive to fix. one of my friends whose had hers for a couple years brought hers to the dealer like 4 time for the hvac system and only on the 4th time did the problem go away for good. spent a couple thousands for that.

try disabling the automatic start/stop feature to let the engine continue to run and blow cold air when at a stop.

i think it wil lbe better to get this checked because it might do more harm than good. unless you know your way to these things.. let us know how it goes!

how bout when there are not much stops? does it only work when at a stop?

Damn do we have the same friend? Mine has had the same experience, too. But the dealer could not fix it, she had to go to multiple specialists each time. Then they ended up doing direct wiring or something you even have to click a separate button to turn on the AC it's not automatic anymore my God.

Wow, that feels all too familiar. It's crazy how often these so-called 'fixes' end up being total workarounds, right?
