Exhaust design took me by surprise

I think only the driver side bumper exhaust is functional, the passenger side is just a dummy tip molded into the bumper and how on earth am I just finding this out 😭!, its just recently I started to feel like something was off and had to get under and check it out, turns out it's totally by design, just a single exhaust pipe feeding the left outlet, nothing behind the right one, I want to believe according to the designers that this is meant to be a like a smart upgrade or something, maybe for symmetry or something but it just feels weird and I def wasnt expecting this, am I the only one that finds this kind of odd and now I'm half tempted to retrofit a dual exit setup just for the look, but I'm not really sure it's worth the trouble unless there's a performance reason too
Thoughts, suggestions?, thanks as you engage

You're not losing your mind, that's for sure. It's a super common thing now, all for looks and cost savings. Are you thinking of a specific aftermarket kit or a custom job from a muffler shop? A true dual exit setup won't give you any real power gains on the Atlas that you'd feel from the driver's seat.

Happened to me too and I felt kinda tricked, honestly. If you're just after the look, a clean Y-pipe mod might do it, but don't expect much difference in how it drives.
