2023 Volkswagen Atlas fuel filter

Got a 2023 Volkswagen Atlas and im trying to find its fuel filter, isn't it supposed to be in the tank? Also, what's the recommended replacement interval?

Yeah, it's tucked inside the tank with the fuel pump on most newer VWs. It's usually considered lifetime. I think other people swap it around 100k though just to play it safe. I mean for me I swap every 75k as a general rule for my cars.

Yep, it's in-tank and part of the pump assembly. VW suggests you replace it at about 60,000 miles, but I don't really stick to that guideline myself.
