I drove home from work a few days ago, then suddenly the doors were automatically locked every time I slowed to below 15mph and then accelerated (when I stopped at a stop sign and all). It's kind of annoying, is it a setting that can be changed or my car just have an electrical issue that needs a repair? I own a 2020 Volkswagon Atlas guys.

sounds like the auto-lock feature acting, which is pretty common on VWs. Normally, it locks once when you start driving, not every time you slow down and speed up again, so that does seem a bit weird. It should be something you can adjust in the settings, I think, I don't really have much knowledge here. If it suddenly started doing this on its own, maybe a software glitch? You could try resetting the system

Looks like it's a setting that might have been turned on. it's often a security feature, automatically locking the doors when you start moving. you can try to look for automatic lock settings on your infotainment system and see if you can turn it off.

It's an autolock feature that you don't have to worry about. Follow their advice here and just disable here.
